Question:

Can you describe the process of expelling force (Fali )?

Mr. Guo Guizhi

First, we pass from yangshengzhuang (zhanzhuang for health) jijizhuang (zhanzhuang martial). Then comes the attempt to force (shili). By short work tension - relax tendons, one must appreciate the strength of self-expression in all six directions: up-down, front-rear, right-left. In the movement, the body must move in its entirety. Thus we come to expel the force (fali). The purpose of this exercise is to cultivate a spring force through the entire body. This concept is subtle and difficult to grasp. This is the song - jing (tension - relaxation, two words which, when pronounced together, mean "elasticity"). This concept allows to perform specific actions with almost imperceptible movements.

At the end of each movement, the tendons are contracted to expel the force in one of six directions while keeping the unified body. At this stage, we must mobilize several kinds of strength. There are five tendons essential to use when Fali: Those behind the neck, armpits Those who go to low scores and those behind the leg.

Guo Guizhi Me:

The tuishou is a bit like a game, much slower than combat. But it is essential to understand the applications, the contact points and forced eviction in the six directions. In the battle, it comes in contact immediately: the forced eviction (Fali) follows immediately contact, whether by a sudden thrust, a hooking ...
